June Dairy Month in Action: Midwest Dairy's Efforts to Share Dairy's Story

June is here, and we’re thrilled to kick off National Dairy Month, one of Midwest Dairy’s  favorite times of the year!  

Midwest Dairy wants YOU to join the National Dairy Month fun! Your national dairy  checkoff, Dairy Management Inc., recently announced a new consumer campaign,  “Dairy Does More”. We want to help Midwest dairy farmers rep the campaign with new  swag! Enter to win one of five $100 gift certificates to our private Dairy Does More  online apparel and accessory store to shop exclusive men's, women's, and children’s  clothing and fun accessories, like Carhartt tool bags! Simply share with us your most  up-to-date contact information by June 30, 2026, and you will be entered to win. 

Throughout June, we’re highlighting the impact of farmers in a few meaningful ways.  You’ll see messages of appreciation from Midwest Dairy staff across our Facebookand  Instagram channels.  

We’re also sharing weekly email updates featuring our many retail activations, with  partners like Hy-Vee, Fareway, Price Chopper, Chicory, and more. These efforts help  bring your story directly to consumers where they shop and make decisions every day. Keep reading to learn more about our partnerships with Hy-Vee and Fareway.  

Join us this June as our partners, Hy-Vee and Fareway, celebrate National Dairy  Month with exciting in-store promotions designed to keep dairy top of mind for shoppers  all month long. 

Here’s how each partner is making June extra fun and delicious: 

Hy-Vee 

Hy-Vee kicked off its Support Your Local Dairy Farmer campaign on June 1, and it’s running all month long! Look for festive in-store displays featuring cottage cheese, sour cream, and dips, plus eye-catching banners across their website and checkout pages.  

Fareway 

Fareway is proud to honor dairy farmers with their Farm to Freezer – Real Dairy campaign, running June 1 - July 31. They’re featuring their frozen treats, supported by a  creative mix of social media posts (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram), influencer content, a  Fareway magazine ad, and engaging in-store promotions.
