Cream & Caffeine Coffee Crawl
2024 marked the first year we hosted the ‘Smoothie Shakedown’ with northwest Iowa coffee shops! This year we are excited to bring to you the same level of coffee for the third year in a row, now called, the Cream & Caffeine Coffee Crawl!
We look forward to bringing this event back to NW Iowa in June!
The list of coffee shops that are participated will be released by May 15!

2024 Smoothie Shakedown Winner
In 2024, 13 coffee shops participated to each create their own dairy-dense drink to share with customers. The coffee shop with the best drink and highest involvement from customers was then entered to win $250 towards replenishing dairy product for their business!
Brad’s Bistro of Orange City took the winnings with their creation of “Udder Goodness.” It’s safe to say it was ‘udderly’ amazing.

2025 Cream & Caffeine Winner
We have a winner!
After an amazing month celebrating dairy with our Cream & Caffeine Coffee Crawl, the WIDA board has selected Grateful Grounds of George as this year’s winner!
Using a rubric that considered creativity, dairy promotion, and customer engagement, our board was blown away by how this shop showcased milk in such a fun and flavorful way.
A huge thank-you to all of the participating coffee shops — your support helped us spotlight the versatility of dairy and the importance of local partnerships during June Dairy Month!
