Jones Family Dairy Farm

The Jones Family Dairy is a testament to generations of dedication, growth, and love for the land. Their story begins in 1903, when Minor Jones and his wife moved onto the home place. In 1945, Minor’s son James Dale took over the farm after returning from the war. Years later, James’s son Patrick and his wife Nancy purchased the farm in 1982, raising their eight children there.

As the family and farm grew, so did the dairy. A new parlor was built in 1997, allowing them to expand their herd to 350 cows. Most recently, in 2023, Patrick and his two oldest children—Aaron (Titterington) and Nate—took another leap of faith, installing a 64-cow DeLaval rotary and growing the herd to 2,000 Jersey cows.

Alongside their thriving dairy, the Jones Family raises corn, rye, and alfalfa, continually building on the legacy their great-grandfather began over 120 years ago.

Today, Nate Jones and Aaron Titterington are proud to be raising the next generation on the same land he grew up on, instilling the same values and work ethic passed down over the decades.

When asked what has helped him most in dairy life, Nate offers this encouragement:
“Talk to people from other farms and industries. You never know where you'll learn something that will help you be better.”

We’re proud to feature the Jones Family Dairy and celebrate their rich legacy and bright future in the dairy industry.
